unable to change the job status ffrom released to scheduled.

Hi All,
I am unable to change the job status from released to scheduled. when i try to do this it throws an error message saying "error deleting released data in table TBTCS"
This happened in production system and this job is related to payment. Please let me know what should i do.

How about deleting the job and re-scheduling it? (please keep in mind that job number is updated if you use external tools for scheduling)

Check in SM21 if you see any errors there (maybe related to database).
