Regarding with the Smartform printing issues

Hi SAP Gurus,

Problem:This is regarding the Smart Forms, we are going for an upgrade from 4.6c to ECC 6.0. The Smartform print preview is abolutely correct. The text will be (in main window) like (japanese language & English language mix) ｷｭｰﾎﾟｼﾞｯﾄ 253A / 20L ABC. This text shows properly in print preview. When user give print this smartform, then it will be printed a0bui(junk characters) 253A / 20L ABC. Japanese text is not printed. In place of Japanese text the printer is printing junk characters.

Lastly, it will be printing like this.

a0bui 253A / 20L ABC

where a0bui are the junk characters. Please help me regarding this issue.

The issue is resolved, right??? And if it is not resolved, you could have continued with the same thread?? Why did you post a new one??

You should have followed up the same thread saying it is not answered. Thats the procedure.

Can you plz check the printer config once whether it is configured to print the chinese characters or not..
