change reference partner for CRM B2C system

We are currently installing a CRM 5.0 system connected to our ERP 4.7 Enterprise R/3 system. Everything seems to be going well - apart from this issue regarding business partners and reference partner.

We upgraded our CRM system from a previous version. We havent used B2C before only B2B but the reference customer appears to have been defaulted to an old customer.

We need to change the customer but we have already created customers using this reference - unknowingly - and now we want to change this.

This is resulting in errors when the orders come into CRM as the pricing procedure is not able to be used.

Does anyone have any suggestions or can point us to useful SAP Notes that can help?
