Storage Bin- issue

Hai,

For my material 74.36.33.0501, using LS24(stock per material report),it showing two different storage bin.i.e when I do 105/261 , it is in another storage bin o4-DR-01.

**Stoage bin total stock Available stoc

003 04-DR-01 88.000 88.000

1006 X 0.000 0.000

003 OPEN 224.000 224.000

1006 X 0.000 0.000

Why it is coming?It should only one storage bin 'OPEN'.

Any tips?

The question is clear.

However, for an answer one could write a book, as you did not give much details on the facts behind and the question sounds as you do not even know the basics of WM.

105 movement creates stock, 261 removes stock. so 261 can usually not create any stock in a storage bin. if it creates a quant, then only a negative quant in an interim storage type.

What is your putaway strategy? how do you putaway? manually, automatic, to a fix bin, can bin be changed when confirming TO?

Find the TOs for your material that have created stock in this bin. Use transaction LT24 or LT26 for this.

you did not give any starting point to analyze your issue. We cannot logon to your system.

So either give better information, or nobody is able to help you.

any answer is just a big guess.
