Object locking in SPRO

hi,

I m facing one issue in the SPRO transection, I have created one project named APPZP1 in the project IMG(SPRO), I have logged by my User Id - shanti and was trying to access the node "Define,copy,delete,check plant" in project APPZP1.i got the popup with this message "Data is locked by another user". we are sharing one project among 4 functional people, so if one person is using that project next person can't use that......... Request you is there any other way so we can use simultaniously the same project....

In SPRO the data is cross client so you can not have changes on this at single time from different Projects and with different user ids.

This object are only used by one userid with Lock concepts.

There are no other way to do this simultanously.

Simulataneous edit can create inconsistencies.Hence simulataneous edit wont be allowed.

The same in Queries right, you cannot edit same query with two ids simultaneously.

sorry for the miscommunication...Actulay I have created two project named APPZP1and UPS1 in the project IMG(SPRO), I have logged by my User Id - shanti and was trying to access the node "Define,copy,delete,check plant" in project APPZP1.i got the popup with this message "Data is locked by another user". I have chacked with the user but he also working on the same object but from the another project IMG(UPS1). even though we are working on the differnt project we are getting the error. Request you is there any other way so we can use simultaniously same object from the different projects.

I think simultaneous usage cant happen...but in general if a lock persist u cna chk it in SM12 and ask Bais guys to delete the same so tht u can use it.
