Problem log message releasing PO in ME28

Hi Gurus,

I have implemented an enhacement to modify the delivery date when we are releasing an PO. It is working perfectly, however, when I am releasing the document through ME28, I am getting two messages.

I should get only one message instead of two. The first message is created when I am releasing and the second one comes because I am modifying the purchase order (due to the delivery date).

If I was doing it in a manual way I get just one message.

Do you know how I could solve the issue? I just need one message.

The message in a purchase order is already created when you create the purchase order, it is just kept on hold until the PO is released, which is controlled through a requirement.

If you change your PO, not right clear how and when exactly you do that, but based on the fact that you have 2 messages I have to assume that it happens after the release, then you create actually a changed PO, another document that eventually just lists the changed data itself.
