How to change duty rate from 14% to 10% in pending PO's.
Please explain me the procedure.
Regards
Prasad
Excise master data is a dynamic field and hence latest tax rate only captured. However, finance can create separate tx code for differnet value (from 14% to 10%) and process for payment of old bills.
thanx

hi
plz discuss with ur client or Fi guys ,what they have to do with the pending pos ,they have to take 14 % or 10 %
for TAXINN process
in FV11 change then validity of the excise condition to the 7.12.08 and agin copy same condition with valid from 8.12.08 to 31.12.2099
and save
now in this case ur pending pos created befor 7.12.08 will not affect and u can have 10 % duty rather than 14 from date 8.12.08
if u want to change the pending pos to 10% then just in ME22N remove tax code ur using and again put it in the po u will get 10 %
FOR TAXINJ process
u have to change the validity of exising records of excise in J1ID
u have to go to J1ID and in excise rate maintainance u have to change the validity (**** to 7.12.08) and then save and then copy all records with new validity (8.12.08 to 31.12.2099)
hope it clears

Hi,
The excise rate is a dynamic field. It captures current rate of excise from excise table, for all POs (Pending or new).
Hence in old PO also the new rate will be applicable.
