Switching off changes tracking

Hi gurus,

I need to temporarily switch off the tracking when creating sales document with BAPI_ADMGMTSO_CREATEFROMDATA.

At the present time, whenever I create a new document, it is always tracked the creation of the document (see "display changes" for the object RJHAK in JHA1N).

I need to switch off this tracking in migration phase and switch it on later.

Any Ideas?

Hello Friend,

You can de-activate change document update my choosing following via customizing.

in SPRO SAP Media->Advertising Management->Sales->Order->Client-Specific Settings->Control Order Update.

Double click on initiator "Order Update" and select option "Inact ch doc".

I just want to ask another thing.

I think that the tracking can be also switched off by using transaction SCDO (i.e. for the object JHAK).

Is it correct? Do you know the difference between SCDO and select option "Inact ch doc". in customizing?

Hi,

SCDO is used to create the change document object. You can generate few of FMs and structures, which shall be used to update change documents.

I couldn't find any option to activate/deactive CDO in transaction SDCO. Please let me know if there a way to disable CD using SCDO

The customizing is a simple check that FM ISP_AVM_UPDATE performs before calling FM to update CD.
