Cannot Activate the Integration Process

Former Member

Hi Friend,

File Merging:

==========

I wonder why the receiver step not taking the " Use Correlation" or "Activate Correlation" value even after creating the correlation list and check(F7) the same.

At receivers step in Graphical Definition(BPM) I can see the red question mark against Activate correlation value, I can see the value to choose. But when I choose the value and save the value does not stay there it disappears.

I feel that the correlation list value is not been activated and hence unable to use it for the receivers steps.

When I activate the Integration Process, below is the error message appears.

Activation of the change list canceled
Check result for *Integration Process kanchuBPM_IS | http://kanchuBPM_merge.com: *
Step does not use any correlations
Step does not use any correlations

One more information:

Used steps in BPM....

Fork : Fork1
Receive: Receive1
Receive: Receive2
Transformation: Transformation1
Send: Send1

Here the problem is at Receive1 and Receive2 steps. - Unable to choose the correlation value created.

Venkat Ramana K.

When u defined the correlation, did u give the message type involved...

Former Member

Yes,

Perfectly did the same.

As it is really a simple thing, just thinkin what would be the problem and it is almost 4 hours wasted my time and now posted the thread.

I am sure all the steps did perfectly. Onl;y thing the correlation value not standing against the receiver step.

Ramana.

Hi Venkat,

Check that both messages used in the receiver steps and correlation are the same and they are

abstract interface.

Furtheremore, are you using a block step?

Hi Carlos,

User correct abstrat messages.

I used Fork step for merging file.

ALso tried without Fork like:

Start --> Rece1--> Rece2 --> Transformation --> Send1 --> End

With Fork:

                           I--- Rece1---I
Start -->   Fork-----I                 I-----Fork-->Transformation-->Send --> stop
                           I----Rece1---I

Hi Venkat,

Try to create a block step. Put the rest of the steps into the block step.

Try to select your correlation in Local correlation parameter of your block step.

Then, you correlation should be displayed in your receiver steps.

Hi Carlos,

I created a new scenarion using BPM. ( File Merge)

It is working fine now.

Able to see that both the communication channels working fine, files are dleted from Sender Directory, but unable to drop in receivers directory.

What would be the problem?

Checked by Archiving and it is working fine,, able to see the file in Archive folders.

Yes, tried. Not finding information regarding the scenario I created.

But unable to find what exact problem.

What are the input to be given.

Hi Venkat,

So, your scenario is to merge two files into one. isn't it?

Can you see in SXMB_MONI those messages? I mean the two source messages?

Click on PE in one of them and there you can follow the path your BPM is doing...

Has the BPM finished sucessfully?

After that a new message should be generated... can you see it in SXMB_MONI?

The last one should create the target file...

Tell us in which point your message are stuck?

I have IE under SXMB_MONI.

Could not find PE..

Hi Venkat,

If you don't find any message neither SXMB_MONI_BPE nor SXMB_MONI that means there is no

instance of your BPM, so your BPM is not created.

Problem: the correlation you use in your BPM doesn't work properly.

Anyway, do you see any message related to your files? althoug they are not involved with your

BPM...

Its working fine.

As I am able to find the files are moving out from the source directory and landing in the archive mode,

but not reaching in the Target directory.

Only problem is files not landing in target directory.

Otherwise,, all the collaborative and other objects in IR and ID configured perfectly and activated.

Venkat.

Hi,

The error shows that the messages sent to the BPM is different that the message the BPM

is waiting for (the messages that the correlation is waiting for).

How did you design your BPM finally?

Carlos

Hope there is some problem with the communication channels I designed fro senders.

Too many objects and confused..

I think I got it right.

Will try and get back .

Thank you.

Hi Carlos,

Creating new BPM Scenarion ( BPM Merge - Merginf 2 messages )

Succesfully created the IP in the IR.

Now in the ID part.

1. Assigned the Business Systems.

Imported/new Itegration Process (BPM)

2. Created the Communication Channels for the 3 business systems.

3. Now selected Tools--> Transfer Integration Scenario from Integration Repository.

4. Selected the IS and given CS name to create.

5. Click on Close. Integration Scenario Configurator window opened.

6. When Selected " Assign Services" I am not finding the Integration Process assigned to the roles: Senders, IP and Receivers.

Please help me to find the step how to replicate the IP in the configurator window of Assign Services to Applocation Components.

Venkat Ramana K.

Hi Venkat

Use BPMPattern to look use of Block step and also Correlation

The remaining patterns are presented in the PART 2 weblog .

Venkat,

hope the correlation values are maintained properly and there will be no spaces before/after correlation value..

kindly check at correlation editor once again before using it at step types

Hi

Put your Steps into Block step as said by Carlos and use Local Correlation then it would be appear in receive step.
