Adding delete button into a Portal screen ( probably setting in the WAD)

Hello,

When you execute in the portal a query you get some results. You have the opportunity to Save this repport. You'll get 3 tabs, Favorites; Bex Portfolio; My Portfolio.

When I want to delete some favourites is this impossible, I want to have an delete button in this screen. Is this possible? Probable you have to open the Web application Designer to solve this.

Need some help to fix this

Kind regard

When you save the report as favorite in portal, it is basically saved as bookmark in portal KM content.

For portal favorites (first tab) all users can click on the favorites organize entries and delete. For other two tabs (Bex Portfolio ) you have to have access the KM content to delete or I believe there may be a built in iview for BEx portfolio that you can add in portal that will have an option to delete.

I dont think there is an option to delete favorites in WAD, because when you save as favorite it is saved as a copy for each save. If you want you can write a custom code in web dynpro using KM API's and add a Button to delete the entry.

Hello Ravi,

I'm aware that you can delete them in the KM folder in the portal. Your second paragraph gives me more hope.

" If you want you can write a custom code in web dynpro using KM API's and add a Button to delete the entry", where should I built it in, which template , we are using the standard SAP webtemplate for allour reports.

Do you have an example?
