Resourse problem

Dear All,

Can you please tell me what to do in this case please?

I have problem with resource 5329094 in UGT, I have booked as per enclosed copies in CRC1. But when I come to C201, the activity type is not appearing automatically and it is not possible to add it.

Kindly tell ASAP.

Hi Narayan,

Go to CRC2.Select that Resource and In Basic Data tab Check below setting.

After Maintaining Standard Value Key.Check whether Rule For Maintenance is set as,

- May Not be Entered

or

- Should not be Entered.

If this is the case then change it to either

- NO Checking

- Should be Entered

- Must be Entered.

Then check in your Master Recipe.

I have checked in the basic data screen of Resource it is no checking,But i found one clue that control key which is maintain in Resource and Recipe is different .So is it a problem?

Hi Ashok,

In Resource control key is SE03 -- Discription is Fors Mill standard and

In Recipe control key is SE11 -- Discription is process mill confirmation required.

Hi,

I had checked other resources also in that control key is same in both i.e. resource and recipe and in this case when you see in c203 you can see the activity type in that that's why i am confusing, so whether this is the problem or anything else .

its not problem with control key, you need to chek in activity type field.not on the decription bar

Hi Narayan,

It seems to be silly but check whether you have activate the check box for Phase Indicator or not where you have attached that resource.

And yes I don't think, Problem is due to Control key.

Dear Dhaval and all PP gurus,

I am having one question to you that i had checked other recipe's in which the activity type is clearly viewing but in that the control key is same in both i.e. in Resource and Recipe.That's why i thought that it might be problem but you are saying that this is not the problem then please tell me where is the fault

Kindly tell me or give some clues ASAP.

Dear Dhaval,

One thing i found is that i got follwing error as below when i was doing KP26.

Cost center 5329094 is not supported in all periods

Message no. GM035

Diagnosis

You want to plan or post to cost center 5329094 in period(s) 1 - 10. However, it does not exist in these periods and therefore cannot be used in this transaction.

Procedure

1. Shorten the planning or posting period such that it is covered by the validity period of cost center 5329094.

So is it a problem?

Pls check validity period of yor cost center.

Try validity periods from starting date and change the validity

Hi Narayan,

I had just seen your Screen shots and problem is you have miss to tick the reference Indicator in costing Data tab of Resource.

Go to CRC2 select that Resource and in Costing Data tab tick Reference Indicator where you have define activity type Xsheet.

After maintain it check in your Master Recipe.

after entering activity type there is an indicator R - reffrenced

if u not tick on this indicator then default values of that w/c is not copied in ur routing

u just tick on that indicator and press F1 u get the information abt that indicator

I checked in costing tab of resource that R- indicator is not ticked but i had seen some other resorses in that also R- indicator is not ticked but when you enter in c203 you can see the activity type which you have maintained in resourse .

So can you please tell me why is it so?
