How to Identify sender AribaNetworkchennel based on End point id

Dear All,

we have 1 "AN ID" and 2 different "end point ID".

we can able to send Purchase order to different end point ID (by using same AN ID and different end point ID) - we created 2 AribaNetworkchennel for different End point ID.

the issue is: when Ariba sends Purchase order acknowledgement to the PI channel, it's always point to only one channel. i.e it's not identifying the channel based on the End point ID which is configured in senderAribaNetworkchennel

please note: I've created two separate sender AribaNetworkchennel get the respective Purchase order acknowledgement

may i know how do i resolve this issue? please do needfull

I'm using SAP PI 7.31 and working with standard content .

Regards

Ramesh

Ramesh,

You need to have 2 Endpoint in your buyer network as well and your Order Ack has to be set accordingly to that End Point so that that respective channel picks its up.

Login into Buyer Account -->manage profile-->Business End Points :

Talk to your Ariba CounterPart and get this setup done in buyer account.

Thanks,
Manoj

Thank you for your reply,

As i discussed with Ariba end, that they have created the end point at their end it seems.

while getting an OrderConfirmation_cXML to see right end point ID (end point ID 2), but it's not pointing to right sender AribaNetworkchennel it's pointing to other end point id (end point ID 1) channel.

i've verified both the channel, all configuration are same except endpoint ID, but still from Ariba end not able to point the correct channel. do we need to do any specific configuration in PI to achieve this.

Ramesh

Why you have 2 end points ? Do you have more then 1 ECC/S4 backend system ?

In that case, you can use System ID attribute which is present in AN Adapter, in Ariba terms they call it as MultiERPEnabled.
