No Graphics in Print Preview

I am on 4.7 Enterprise. The problem is 'Print Preview' for SAPscripts no Graphics ever show.

There are a range of them, some the 'old' ones loaded via RSTXLDMC, and some 'new' loaded via SE78.

All the images exist on the client, and all print out fine. The problem is purely that none of the graphics ever show up in print preview.

It's not a GUI isssue, as I have 2 completely different 4.7 systems which I access via the same Saplogon GUI. One system shows graphics in 'Print Preview, & SP01 etc, the other does not.

Any Ideas ?

I can use any of 153 printers defined on the system, choosing any one of them makes no difference.

The only thing that does work is 'Print Preview' within SE78, for both GRAPHICS BMAP and the 'old ' ST standard texts.

Hi,

Your window for LOGO might not be accommodating size. try to increase size of the LOGO window and retest it.

Thanks,

Sree.

No, thts not it. The window size is fine because the forms print perfectly with the logos on.

The problem is I just can't see any logos/signatures/graphics in print preview.

(I can see them in SE78 preview as standalone Graphics images, but once they are attached to a form I cant see them at all. It makes form development unnecessarily difficult when trying to size/position the logos. I have to keep making printouts).

hI,

Due to performance, is it possible to mark the graphic only to be used when printing.

Check your small check boxes in SE78, maybe its one of them causing the issue.

I have the solution.

OSS note 673961 has been applied to the system when it was initially built c8 years ago. The purpose of this note is to suppress the on-screen preview of graphic elements. (I guess it was for situations where a Graphic was created with a lof of 'white space' around it, and the white space was overlaying the text & line drawing etc.)

Anyway, the solution is in FM PREPARE_OTF_FOR_GUI_PREVIEWER, to comment out the 2 'CONTINUE' commands referred to in the above OSS note, effectively reversing it.
