Hello,

We have SAP CPI enterprise account and having 3 sub-accounts (Cloud Prod, Cloud Test, Company Ltd) existed. We created new subaccount for the other integration activities. But the problem here is the newly created subaccount does not have any provider subaccount & applicationscapture1.png. where in other 2 subaccounts (prod & test) having provider subaccount & applications as 1. hcisvc/provision, 2. tenant management, 3. runtime node (PFA....cpi-issue.png). Please let me know is there any specific way to create the subaccount to enable provider subaccounts and to get the CPI url for the new subaccount.

Hi Varaprasad

The number of CPI subaccounts is equal to the number of CPI tenants you've bought from SAP. You cannot add additional Cloud Integration subaccounts on your own.

Hi Morten,

Thanks for your inputs.

If you have any document links can you please share. That will really help me to make our team understand about this concept.

Hello again

The tenants you have access to, are the ones described in the account details emails you received from SAP, when you purchased CPI. You can buy additional tenants, but at a cost, of course. I don't have a link to a document detailing this, but your SAP sales contact will be able to provide you with more detail.

Regards,

Morten

hello Subbu,

I am also in the same page, I have 2 sub-acccounts. One for prod (whcih has subscriptions) and one for QA. QA sub-account has nothing in it. So does it incur additional cost to have subscription in QA sub-account. If so, what is the use of having access to create sub-accounts.

Kind Regards,

Hi Varaprasad,

I am wondering did you find any information on price as I just created subaccount and realized some of subscriptions that are needed for integration services are not there(similar to issue)

just wondering what is process for requesting new subaccount (or tenant) do we need to create incident or is there any separate process and cost involved?

Thanks

Subbu

Hello,

As Morten mentioned above if you want to add a new sub-account with integration services then you need to check with SAP. Adding subaccount is nothing but adding new integration instance to your cloud platform.

I hope you might have two instances (subaccounts) for test and production. The additional cost is involved for the new subaccount.

I am not very sure about the process to get a new sub-account. But I hope we can check with SAP by raising service request. Pricing depends on the contract/relation with SAP.

Thank you for your quick response, I have incident open with SAP and surprisingly they say that there is no cost to add additional sub-account but just simply creating sub-account may not have cost to it but we need to add services/functionality to that which may incur cost either way seems too much confusions:-) , I have referred this link into the incident so that they can internally discussed with in SAP)

I will follow up with SAP on this and we currently have two sub-accounts(TEST and PROD) which we are using and due to upgrade project we built parallel landscape and also we have additional SuccessFactors tenants and good to have additional integration service tenant to make sure we test all integration scenarios.

now another question as not sure what is difference technically between tenant and sub-account ( hope both are same :-))

Thanks

Subbu
