Hi All,
I was learning the BRF Rule based workflow and wanted to know the use of the field USER AGENT GROUP. The documentation for that is very less. I wanted to know what is the business logic for the field and any practical use for the field.

Abdul
Normally you assign the user type and its value based on CR type in this table. From functionality point of view, if you are creating a Business partner and want a particular user id to approve the BP then, you will select user agent type as U and then value as user id. In most of the cases, the user agent is always AG and value is Role. Roles are assigned to group of users so that any one from that group can approve the request. E.g When BP is extended for a company code, users from finance department normally approve these requests. We create a role for Finance group and assign the finance users who are responsible to approve/reject the requests. The role is assigned in user agent table and based on the value/ dynamic conditions, the workflow is routed through the different groups of users.
Hope you got the clarity on user agent group now.
