Delete Cost Element

I want delete or disable cost element. Please let me know how i delete or disable cost element.

Hi,

Use t-code KA04 for Deleting cost element.

Use t-code KA02 and Select Lock Indicator for disable the cost element.

Hi Sreekanth,

Sir Please let me know one thing i have create a cost element today and when i delete that cost element then any problem chances is there or not.

Hi,

Cost element are used for Internal Reporting purpose. So deleting will not effect anywhere.

Whereas G/L Account is Used for External Reporting purpose. It will effect the P&L and Balance sheet.

Hi I just Delete only cost element not G/L Code.

if i delete cost element then G/L code will be deleted or not.

Deletion of cost element will not affect the GL account or delete the GL account.
