S/4 HANA <=> SAP GTS

Dear all

reading this announcement of SAP http://news.sap.com/sap-gts-and-sap-s4hana-whats-changed/

I have still some "issues" in following the "roadmap" story explained there.

I am looking on this block of information:

"What does that mean for SAP S/4HANA customers? Companies using SAP S/4HANA and no other logistics systems will be able to draw on the foreign trade functionalities in SAP S/4HANA in the future.

A functionality was recently implemented for SAP S/4HANA, and two others are in the realization phase. What should companies do if they want customs and foreign trade processes to map in SAP GTS, but also want to benefit from SAP S/4HANA?"

S/4 HANA is the "follower" of SAP ERP. My current understanding has been (based on best practise seen at many companies)

We will have one S/4 HANA installation and a seperate SAP GTS installation which communicate with each other. But now reading the text i am not sure any more,

Based on: A functionality was recently implemented for SAP S/4HANA, and two others are in the realization phase.

it seems to be that because of:

"Who is already running the new Intrastat functionalities with SAP S/4HANA?

All companies that are on SAP S/4HANA, and that used the previous Intrastat functionality in SAP ECC."

We have now a new "intrastat" solution in S/4 HANA (and I assume this is whate is refereed to if SAP explains: one functionaliyt was implemented; but two are in realization phase: I am not sure "which" two SAP is refering to.

Is there any more specifci "road map" information available?

I hope to get soime feedback from community

C.B.
