SAP Limits!!- HSA EE with various ER contributions on IT0015

Hi all,

We are trying to set up HSA to stop processing in payroll when meeting the max IRS limits. We understand their is configuration for creating an IT0169 plan for this purpose. The problem we are running into is that for us HSA Employer contributions are put on IT0015 randomly and with different amounts and different wage types. How can this configuration somehow 'see' these wage types from IT0015 need to be accumulated with the EE portion from the IT0169 plan setup, that way it stops taking the EE portion if the combined max has been reached for the employee when running through payroll.

IE. EE contributes biweekly $200 for the paycheck. An IT0015 is entered for WT123 ER of $10. And on the next payroll an IT0015 is entered for WT456 ER of $5. So the total that has been collected is two bi-weekly amounts for $400 and $15 in ER amounts, for a total of $415. How can the system see it is $415 contributed so far for the year, and then if reaching the max IRS limits later, stop taking the $200 biweekly?

Any help is greatly appreciated as enrollment is coming up!!

Thank you,

Denise
