ECF Agent Find e-mail

for the need of our client to have live video chat we need to use the ECF agent application (in the future we will build a custom one) also installed the restfull interfaces.

The problem I have is that when trying to do a search for emails received by the agent, the screen asks me for an "id" that I do not know, in the document: "ECF Developer Guide" it clarifies:

"Currently this widget supports e-mail fetching only by the e-mail ID. This ID is a GUID which must be a 32 characters long string."

I understand that this data is a alphanumeric of 32 positions, but even so, I do not know what it is, and also, how can the agent know this value!.

    We had the same dilemma. Of course you can find the ID if do the Online Monitoring search and then open the contact details there. But who would do that :-)

    So just created our own contact search "widget" to search e-mails, calls etc. in ECF:
