Abapdump _GET_INDEXSIZE_LOCKED when filling up BIA index in BI 7.0

Hi,

We are getting runtime error when filling up BIA index in BI 7.0, We applied snote#1246496, 1173581, but no lock. Please suggest.

Hi Venkata,

also check note 1161963 and that the HTTP service is working properly (/nSMICM > Services). If you can fix it please open a customer message so SAP support can analyze the issue.

thanks for the reply,

We checked the ICM service in our system, it looks fine. whenever we scheuled job for create and filling up the index , it is terminated with MESSAGE_TYPE_X error, it is showing " GETINDEXSIZE_LOCKED " message.

Recently we created new BIA instance in one of our BIA box to connect one of the development system, its giving error in new instance.

The issue was resolved by "Delete & recreate indexes in BIA". thank you very much for your help.

Hi

I am having a similar issue with BIA getting dump

"MESSAGE_TYPE_X" " "

"CL_RSDDTREX_WRITEINDEX========CP" or "CL_RSDDTREX_WRITEINDEX========CM01Q"

"_GET_INDEXSIZE_LOCKED

when creating indexes on two cubes in BIA.

It does not give the same error for other cubes.

I tried drop & recreate the indexes (during the index recreate it fails with above dump)

any help is appreciated

Please check if OSS Note 1246496 - Dump GETINDEXSIZE_LOCKED - error toleranz is applicable in your situation.
