need help using Business View

I have a Crystal report with a list of values that I need to publish to Business Objects Enterprise. The list of values however is dynamic and I understand I cannot use a dynamic parameter in a report that is published in BOE.I read somewhere that I need to use Business View for this. This is the first time I would be using this and I'm not sure where to begin. I have accessed Business View but once there I am not sure what I need to do. Can anyone help? thanks.

Once you create a Crystal report with dynamic list of values and when you try to save this or publish this to the server then by default a business view will be created for this report in the repository. So we need not create a seperate business view for the report that consist of dynamic list.

Hope this helps!

Thank you. When I try to run the report in BOE, I get an error: 'List of Values failure: fail to get values. [Cause of error: Failed to open the connection. ]. I have checked the db connection and everything is fine. I have other reports running of the same db. Any suggestions? Thanks.
