Customer doesn't need Cost of Goods Concept

Hi Everyone,

I had a new customer and he doesn't need the concept of Cost of Goods. How can I manage it in SAP Business One. Please help.

    Hi,

    Even though your customer doesn't need to know the cost of goods, he may still need to be able to determine the value of his warehouse. At least for tax purposes.

    A simple way to not manage item cost, is to use service type documents.

    • Hi Rohit,

      The only way that I can think of not to have the stock entries in the journal entry is to only set the Sales Item and Purchase Item check boxes for all items. However, this would mean no warehouse management at all.

      From the screenshot I take it the customer uses the production module. Not using the production module at all is another way.
