How to create a current year month filter in Lumira.

I have a specific requirement wherein I have to calculate a certain set of measures for the entire time period of 2 years. For one specific measure, I need this to be calculated for the current month. The filter for 2 years is coming as default values from the under lying HANA models.

My Landscape Architecture is as below:

HANA Models -> BO 4.1 Universe with JDBC connection -> Lumira 1.29 Server

My problem can be represented as:

1. Measure M1, M2, M3 -> Filter for 2 years as default values from HANA input parameters.

2. Measure M4 to be filtered for current month (MTD).

Could anyone please advise how this can be achieved? If I create a dimension for current Month and apply a filter it would be hard coding. Measure M4 has to be calculated as per the current Month and year and should change dynamically every month.

Please let me know if I have not been clear.

Thanks for the advise.

Best regards,

    Hi Vinayak
Just discovering that post... Did you solve your problem ?

I think this can be handled with an input Parameter directly in your HANA view, with a default value set as component(now(),2)).
Please share if in between you found another, more elegant solution.
