Payroll Periods

Hi Gurus,

when generating Payrollperiods, a paydate is generated by sap in table t549s. our client requirement does not match some paydates generated by SAP. I would like to know, if i can do the table maintenance in sm30 for t549s to meet the client requirement for some Paydates ?. and will this impact anything in future. Our client also has requirement for 27 Payperiods for one biweekly Payrollarea. I know that, SAP will generate only 26 Periods. Is there any alternative for this and has anyone come across this situation? Appreciate your help.

Regards,

Fred

    Hi Fred,

You can add one entry for 27 PP in 2009 and for future date after that you need to manually move forward each entry for the next periods. For e.g. your 02/2010 will become your 01/2010 and 03/2010 will become your 02/2010.

    I hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply Arti. I would like to know, once sap generates Paydates in T549S. our client requirement does not match for some Paydates, due to holidays they want to Pay before. So, can you let me know if i can update the table t549s manually by changing it to required Paydate for specific Payperiod?. and will this work? As you have mentioned before, 27th Payperiod needs to be generated manually and going forward all the Payperiods for future needs to be generated manually for this Specific Payroll area? Pl correct me if i am wrong. Appreciate your help.

      Regards,

      Fred

Change the pay date in table V_T549S_B. Go to SM30 and enter V_T549S_B and change the pay date like 01/01/2010 to 12/31/2009 in this way you will have 27 pay dates in 2009 but only 26 pay periods.
