CUAN_IMPORT_SRV to be used as Odata service ?

Hello Experts,

As per the yMKT integration guide we should avoid using CUAN_IMPORT_SRV? Is it true? Are there any impact of this? SAP recommends to use individual Odata services instead of Compound Import Service.

The reason I am asking is that because we have a sap hybris commerce integration and when I went through the hybris commerce documentation I found that the datahub send the data to CUAN_IMPORT_SRV. However I have raised the query for hybris commerce experts . Any help here is highly appreciated. I need to finalize my design on this.

It actually depends on what version of the system you are using. for old version on premise CUAN_IMPORT_SRV was recommended.

But with latest versions since the data structure has changed with lot of new functionalities being introduced, they have now moved to individual API's.

I don't know about datahub, but via Expressway; check the comment of robin.vezina on February 22, 2018 at 6:37 pm in the comment section of the Expressway blog:

He references an impex file on hybris commerce that should be able to switch you from CUAN_IMPORT_SRV to individual services in case your hybris marketing version is supporting the individual services.

Thanks Joyca. Let me check with the ycommerce developer on the feasibility of this change.
