COPA activation and historical data migration

Hi All,

I am working on COPA implementation project where already SAP was Live for past 10 years. We are done with all the settings but I have below queries, please help me on this.

1. Need to migrate Open Sales orders - Please guide me how to do this with pre checks.

2. Client was also asked to migrate historical billing data for last 2 years. There is a option to migrate but what are the pre check to migrate historic data.

Regards,

Prabhu G

    Dear Prabhu Gorantla,

For migrating open sales orders you can use KE4F and KE4T.

For migration of old billing data you can use KE4S transaction code. In these t-codes there is option for checking the data.

But for your first question I don't know it is needed to migrate open sales orders to the system. If you are not posting a document to CO-PA with record type A you don't need to migrate open sales orders. These sales orders will be posted to CO-PA when you create the invoice. (if you're using costing based CO-PA)
