COPA activation and historical data migration

Hi All,

I am working on COPA implementation project where already SAP was Live for past 10 years. We are done with all the settings but I have below queries, please help me on this.

1. Need to migrate Open Sales orders - Please guide me how to do this with pre checks.

2. Client was also asked to migrate historical billing data for last 2 years. There is a option to migrate but what are the pre check to migrate historic data.

Dear Prabhu Gorantla,

For migrating open sales orders you can use KE4F and KE4T.

For migration of old billing data you can use KE4S transaction code. In these t-codes there is option for checking the data.

But for your first question I don't know it is needed to migrate open sales orders to the system. If you are not posting a document to CO-PA with record type A you don't need to migrate open sales orders. These sales orders will be posted to CO-PA when you create the invoice. (if you're using costing based CO-PA)
