SAP_PP_009 - Bottom Up Heuristics questions

Hi,

We are checking if SAP_PP_009 - Bottom Up Heuristics will help us target our objectives.

Objective: Reschedule and recreate orders according to component availability.

Situation:

Forecast at Parent on W2 = 5800; W3 = 295,000; W4 = 5800

Initial SOH at Parent = 5,329

Receipt at Component W5 = 44,000

Initial SOH at Component = 261,500

Simulation:

Run PP heuristics with 2 steps. First step, using SAP_PP_002, this generates orders for W2 = 471, W3 = 295,500 and W4 = 5800. At second step using SAP_PP_009, this reschedule the orders to W2 = 471, W10 = 5,800 and W11 = 295,000.

Questions:

1. Based on the results, it appears that at step 2 ie using SAP_PP_009, orders from step1 were rescheduled from W3 to W11 and W4 to W10. So it is clear that the dates were the ones changed. Is this the standard behavior of the SAP_PP_009? Only the orders dates are being rescheduled rather than recreating the orders?

2. Note that there's a receipt at Component on W5 = 44,00. Why this has not been taken into consideration during SAP_PP_009? This type of receipt is Distribution Receipt (Planned) fixed. This seems violates the component availability. Is there a way to consider this receipt during the heuristics run?
