PI 7.1 Sync/Async Bridge with ccBPM fine tuning to send response in few milliseconds

Hello All,

We are working on a simple sync/async bridge in PI 7.1 using SOAP to IDoc scenario. PI will receive the SOAP call and within BPM create an acknowledgment message respond back to sender and then create an IDoc for SAP. BPM steps are as follows:

1. Receive (Sync/Async Open)

2. Transform (sender to Ack)

3. Send (Syn response back to sender)

4. Transform(sender to IDoc)

5.Send(Idoc to ECC)

BPM is running fine and no issues with response. The only concern is the response to Sender is received in 2-3 seconds, while the requirement is to achieve this in less then 1 sec.

We have increased the queues and also activated the Multiple Queue (Random) parallel processing for BPM, but still the message from AE to BPM is taking 3 seconds and then from BPM the response is taking around 300 ms.

We are looking for a parameter where the handover time between AE and BPE can be reduced.

The message size is very small and overall processing time for the complete interface is also around 3 seconds, so BPM is completing in milliseconds, the only time spent from AE to BPE is very high.

Thanks & Regards,
