missing roles in GCP Instance ( HANA Express Vers.2.00.030.00.1522210459 )

Hi all,

i have finally decided to use the google cloud plattform for my HANA Express Instance,

and was suprised how fast the setup was. But some very important details are still missing and i couldn't have found a solution for my issues. I have tried both versions ( with XSA and without. In both versions are the administration roles missing.

For instance : sap.hana.admin.roles::Administrator is not contained. And this one is very essential for using the HANA Cockpit and other adminstrational tools.

After some reserches i found the hint that some delivery units were not imported properly. For what reason 😞

I should have try to reimport the delivery unit ZHANA_ADMIN.tgz from the auto content .

So i did and nothing changed. Admin roles are still misssing and i make no progress in my installation / configuration.

So please can anyone provide a stable solution for that issue ? I am lokking for it since days.:( and ask my self, how is it possible to roll out such a instable version to gcp. Does anyone wants to annoy newbies..

Hi, Ali, are you trying to access the old Cockpit? That's been gone for a long while.

And this is how you check the URLs for the cockpit in your instance (they should match mine, I am also using GCP):

Cockpit-web-app is probably what you are looking for (port 51042 by default in the instance you are using). User XSA_ADMIN has the privileges you need
