SAP WEB IDE - How do I include the Mobile Project Type on existing SAPUI5 apps.

All my new projects (Created with the SAPUI5 Application Template) have a 'Mobile' Project type assigned to them. This allows me to deploy them through the Hybrid App Toolkit.

My existing apps (that I wish to mobilise) don't have this Project type (They only have the SAP Fiori type).

How do I add the Mobile project type for existing SAPUI5 apps?

    Hi Adam

You can set project type to your project by going to Project Settings -> Project Types.

You can see more information here: https://help.sap.com/viewer/825270ffffe74d9f988a0f0066ad59f0/CF/en-US/48ec631c715a4f12b404b817e172ced0.html

    Thanks,

    Augusto

    Hi Adam,

What do you mean by "deploy it as hybrid app"? The mobile project type is only for HAT local add-on builds. Cloud builds using either Mobile Service for SAP Fiori or development & operation do not check (and thus not need) this project type. You may want to check out the updated HAT documentation at https://help.sap.com/viewer/8e5c63b6470a4255861c259f3b2d9b41/Cloud/en-US/aa2615e5a5074181ba00e46aad9c22d9.html.

e.g. for a newly created app (HAT enabled), the folder structure is webapp/project.json

    With existing apps it's webapp/webapp/(no project.json).
