Two Languages for Customer Master

Dear all,

I want to maintain the data for one customer in Customer Master Record (XD01) in Two different languages. Would u please tell me what configuration or new customisation has to be done.

Hi,

this is done in SE11. Choose Data Element (For which you wish to maintain the data in 2 languages).

in the menu bar, choose Go to --> Translation & choose the target language you wish.

For Eg: If you wish to maintain in DE, then choose DE & maintain the corresponding description in DE.

Hi,

Since the laguage is assigned at the company code level you can not maintain two languages in standard SAP,

what you can try to do is when you logon you have the option to change the language by default it will take english if it is blank

if you enter DE for Example it will logon in a german language ,

here also you will see the titles in german language but the customer address would be the same in English as the table entry ADRC is having that info, so if you change the customer address etc it would change irrespective of your logon language
