Automatic trigger of order for counter based plan

Hey gurus,

I ve created a counter based plan and determined the counter value for which the maintenance plan should be called. Now every time i overflow this value i ve to go to the scheduling and save it then only the order gets released. How to automaticaaly trigger the order based on the counter reading without going to the schedule and saving it every time?

Regards,

Abhishek

Try using T.CODE IP30. Enter no. of days in future for which you want to do the scheduling and execute.

      Dear Abhishek

For Counted based plan the planned date is dependent on annual estimate & counter reading you enter frequently. Suppose annual estimated is 1500 KM for bike that means bike runs 4.1 hous for a day. if you post reading 8 hours onec it will shift you planned date early by one day.

if you want to do fixed date maintenance, better you for time based maintenance plan.

    hi

you can also use IMRC0001,but it has some restriction likeIt makes sense to use this customer exit if you have a large number of maintenance plans, but only a few measurement and counter readings.

    Hi Abhishek,

You need not overflow the counter to achieve a call. An overflow is a condition where a counter exceeds the max value CntrOverReadg defined in the counter. After it exceeds or overflows , the counter is reset to its initial count.

    Example

    Last displayable counter reading 999

    Last counter reading 990

    Units used 20

New counter reading after counter overflow 010

You just need to schedule the plan using deadline monitoring IP30 (provide interval for call objects, tick rescheduling inclusive, tick immediate start for all.)

Then u have to fill the counter reading in the measurement document. When the counter reading corresponds to the call date, it will automatically generate a call.

    Saurabh.
