Hi!
How to get the basis type such as MATMAS02, MATMAS05 as known basis type in tcode IDX2?
When I try to load metadata in tcode IDX2 I get the following error:
Basic type 'MATMAS02' is unknown
Message no. EA224
Thank you very much!
Holger
One possible problem ~
Check the details of the RFC destination. I have seen cases when developers have created the RFC destination pointing to XI itself. The RFC destination should point to R3 and not to XI and should contain the details of your R3 system.

did you provide MATMAS02 in the IDoc type and also check if you specified the correct source port.
if still you are facing issues, open the source port and check if the connectivity is fine.
