Hello All,
The SPDD transport (PQBK900002)) was created during ACT_700 (SPDD, in shadow instance) phase of our first upgrade (PQB). This transport was realesed by the upgrade process at the end of the upgade, and was recorded in /usr/sap/trans/bin/umodauto.lst. Following are the contenets of this file:
SPDD 700 PQBK900002
Then we started our next upgrade (PDV) and we had following dialog with SAPup:
SAPup> CAUTION: The transport "PQBK900002" was found for SPDD
but it does not contain all objects which need adjustment!
Nevertheless you may decide to use this transport.
You may check the log file for RSUMOD01: UMODPROT.PDV.
Alternatively you may run transaction SPDD now
to get a more detailed description.
Do you want the transport to be imported automatically?
- "no"
- "yes"
Enter one of these options [] := yes
SAPup message
SAPup> OK: The transport PQBK900002 from your system PQB
will be used now for the following upgrade.
Double checking the result of this import would require
stopping in phase ACT_700 to let you run transaction SPDD.
Do you want to double check the result of this transport?
- "no"
- "yes"
Enter one of these options [no] := no
SAPup message
SAPup> INFO: The upgrade will now take into account the
transport PQBK900002 for repository modifications
in phase DDIC_700. The upgrade will not halt
in phase ACT_700 to let you run transaction SPDD.

- "cancel"
Enter one of these options [continue] :=
Howevere when the upgrade process finished, it did not did the required adjustments.
Fllowing is the screenshot from the original (first system=PQB) system. It shows two subtransports and they are not marked as released. Is this the reason why it did not applied the adjustments to the next system? Also there is SAP note which says only one transport can be falgged for SPDD. So if that is the case, then how we can create only one trasnport (without subtransports) in SPDD during the upgrade? Also is there a way if we can still use this transport during our next upgrade?
