I am getting the BEx transport request '' is not available or not suitable when I work with a query with a 3x restricted key figure. I'm using BEx 7. Up until some time ago, I could use the RKFs that were defined in BEx 3x in my BEx 7 queries. I could save the BEx 7 queries and then edit the queries later. There were no problems with transports - new queries got written to the $TMP package, and I'd collect them to a transport in Transport Connection.
Now, when I simply add a 3x RKF to a new BEx 7 query and save it, the query saves OK to the $TMP package. But when I go to edit that query, I get the above message. I have even put the query on a transport, but still get the same message when I try to edit it. I'm not trying to make any mods to the RKF. The message occurs at the query level. If I make a new query that doesn't have a 3x RKF or CKF, I am able to save and edit it with no problem.
In the time between how it used to work and now, BASIS has installed Service Pack Stack 17. (We used to be at 12.) However, they have also installed SPS 17 on a sandbox mirror, and I don't get the same behavior there. The version of Query Designer I'm using is Support Package 7, Patch 1.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
