Hello Experts,
There is a business requirement, whereby generally PR/PO needs to be created with very high values ranging in ten thousand millions.
When this value is entered in PR or in PO, an error is received - "Entry too long (please enter in the format ___,___,__~.__)".
This is probably due to the data element restriction, it is restricted to a max. 11 length with 2 decimal allowed.
Hence, value can be entered, say for e.g. as 123456789.00 only, it does not allow to enter PR value or PO value as 12345678911.00, which is required as per the business scenario.
There are scenarios , where the project teams are executing such contracts, where single line item value may well exceed 9 digits (in particular with currencies like JPY). Due to this limitation, we are unable to create SAP Purchase Orders in line with the job requirement and our suppliers are also not accepting breaking up of single line item into multiple.
Please help.
Regards,
Zafar
