Hi All,
We are using Release strategy for PO/Contracts and have mantained different release groups. Also the codes assigned in each group has prerequisites in sequence of hierachy levels of the releasing authorities. This works fine as unless the previous releasing authority releases the PO ,the next authority can not release the same.
But in case of cancelling release of a document I find the system is not looking for any prerequisite. That means suppose the document has been released up to three levels ,but in ME29N the first level authority when cancelled his release the entire document release gets cancelled. My concern is is there any way out by which the order in which the PO gets released as per the release prerequisite ,in the same order the release must be cancelled. That means unless the higher level releasing authority cancells the release the down below authority must not be allowed by the system to cancell the release.
Please give your feedbacks on this as the issue is creating confusion .
