hi friends...

what is the movement type used to issue goods from quality(after production) to finished store, and rg1 entry should be updated with that movement type..

Hi,

Movement type 321:

The quantity is transferred from stock in quality inspection into unrestricted-use stock.

Here you can post the quantity to another storage location.

You cannot use this movement type for QM-managed materials since transfer posting for these materials takes place via the usage decision

Hi,

You can move the stock from Quality to Finished store through Usage decision with the 321 mvt type.

But system will not update the RG1 entry by this mvt type. I don't understand why you need to update the RG1 while posting the stock from Quality to FG stores.

Only when you sold that goods from the Finished stores then only RG1 will update not by just internal stock posting.

Hi GSC,

We can update the RG1 register with quantities received by performing 321 movement.

Only thing is to link this movement type-321 to RG1 register. There is configuration needs to be done.

Hi,

I understand if we customize & link the Mvt type 321 to RG1 register then system will update,We can do this for other mvt types also.

but what is necessary of updating the RG1 for Mvt type 321

But usuage should be meaning ful for excise updation.
