Assign Activities to emails

Hi,

On CRM2007 I can create emails and assign activities to them (similar to assign account etc). But on another system it doesnt work, there is no drop down showing up. The view is in standardconfiguration.

Can anybody tell me where to customize what activities can be assigned?

I checked the reference-profiles in SPRO but was not successful at all, even I could deactivate the assignment on the other system where it works.

Can anybody help?
