Hi experts,

Please tell me how to use inspection characteristics in routing? please explain me steps along with t-code.

Dear,

Generally for inprocess inspection (03) MIC's will be added to routing.

when you add inspection characteristics in the routing this is for inprocess check prerequisite for that you have to maintained inspection type in material master 03 for process order or production order or for 13 for repetative manufactureing

For inprocess inspection and we need to assign MIC's for this which are relevent created in QS21 for this also sampling procedure created in QDV1

After maintaining inspection chara in routing, when you release order inspection lot automatically generated. for that inspection lot you have to record result. for that you have QE51N tcode in that enter material and inspection type and execute record result and save.after that QA11 for Usage decision. accept or rejected.

Maintain Inspection type 03 in material master and then add inspection characteristics to routing...
