How do I connect an old R/3 4.0B system to my SLD?

Hi,

I have to connect an old R/3 4.0B system to my SLD (XI 3.0), but lack of tr RZ70 and SLDAPICUST I can't see any other way to do it then to create the Technical system manually.

Does anyone know if there is an add-on or support package for 4.0B containing the code for connecting to SLD and have it automatically updated?

Is it possible for XI to send/receive IDOCS from a 4.0B system without having it defined in my SLD?

You need to create the Technical systems manually. No other option.

SAP XI working with 4.0 i have never tried but yes it work with SAP BC 4.6 or 4.8. You can integrate SAP BC and sap XI using BC adapter.

It should be in your product list so that can be assigned to technical system while creation.
