Creating release groups.....

Hello freinds.

Here I am trying to do release strategy for PReq.

First I have created cherecteristic and class.

Then created release group where the message appears saying , "Please check release classes (see long text)". and the release groupt which which I have created is not been saved here,

Is there any settings is there to do before creating release group....

Hi,

You can have only 4 release groups and make use of them while you create Purchasing documents......

2 for PR with and w/out classification.

1 for external purchasing documents.

1 for service entry sheet.

Make sure that you delete and save all other entries and proceed..

Hi,

Follow these steps:

1. Include all the required characteristics in single class only

2. Assign this Class to the Release Group G1

3. Create all the Release Indicators reqrd. for both the groups

4. Instead of creating 2 Release Groups, create 2 Release Strategies and assign the relevant Release indicators in the Release Strategies as per Ur requirement

5. In "Classification" assign the values to relevant chars. of the Strategy types.
