CCM catalog how to add a new field in supplier catalog

Hello group,

I want to enrich my CSV 2.0 file with an url for the products to more information about products.

In my main catalog /CCM/MASTER_CATALOG I can add f.i. /USER/URL type /CCM/HYPERLINK but this does not become visible in supplier catalogs after mapping and there the add-buttons for characteristics are missing.

When I try to upload to the supplier catalog with the extra field /USER/URL#/CCM/URL I get an error that this field is missing.

How can I add this field or make it visible?

I found the answer. You need to create a new supplier catalog, then the newly added field is visible.

It seems there is no way to add the field in existing catalogs.

Could you tell me how did you add new catalog characteristics (z) to Supplier Catalog? Iu2019m not sure, I quite understand you.

Hello Marina,

The first thing to do is to add the Z-field in the master catalog. Then you have to create a new-supplier catalog. The new field should show up. It's a bit of a puzzle. The order in which you do things is very important. Then the supplier catalog can be uploaded with a file with the new-fields.

If everything is ok, the new fields with content should show up in the master catalog. After that you can make a mapping to a catalog that you use in SRM.
