while doing GR return delivery with movement 161 (MB01). it is showing error.

Diagnosis

You have entered a movement type that has not been defined for this transaction/event.

Procedure

Choose a different movement type.

You can choose the movement type as follows:

If you know the movement type, enter it directly in the Movement type field.

Choose the movement type via the menu option Movement type.

Choose the required movement type from the possible entries.

If you do not find a suitable movement type, exit this function and choose a different goods movement from the Inventory Management menu.

Hi,

If you use 161 mvt type in MB01/MIGO then the PO should be returns PO otherwise system will not consider for returns.

Check in PO in the line item whether you have selected the Returns indicator check box . If you want to use 161 mvt type then you need to select that returns then proceed in MB01 then system will accept that mvt type for returns.

Hi,

Pl. go in SPRO-Materials Management-Inventory Management and Physical Inventory-Movement Types-Copy, Change Movement Types.

select movement type in field selection &

type 161 in movement Type.

Now check in allowed transactions whether TCode=MB01 has been entered.

If not, enter it as a new entry & try again your GR return delivery with movement type 161.

If yes, revert back.

Dear Sir;

I have a similar problem.

I have checked the allowed movement types and both MIGO and MB01 are among the entries on movt type 161.

However i still have the error mesg "movt type i61 not allowed", please assist.

Hai,

In PO, u have to tick the Returns, then only u can do 161 Mvt type in MB01.
