Hi,

You cannot delete a GL account and cost element, if you have posted transactions to it. The only way to do it is archive all transactions posted to the GL and srchive the GL.

If you want to Delaetde any Master Data First you need to Delete Transactional Data:-

1 - Delete Transactional Data (Reset) - OBR1

2 - Delete Master Data - OBR2

3 - Delete CO Transactional Data - OKC3

4 - Delete Cost Centers - KS14

5 - Delete Cost Center Groups - KSh3

Hi,

It is not advisable to delete the master data, rather you can block them. However, you can delete the master data by OBR2 only if no transaction data exist.

All FI masters cannot be deleted but can be blocked for posting.

All CO masters - can be deleted with a date. means make it inactive from a particular date. No deletion is possible or rather allowed in a Production environment.

In a Test environment or before Go Live

- all can be done through - Go Live preparations options in SPRO. Please go through the options.

if data is already posted - it cannot be deleted.
