CUAN_IMPORT_SRV handles delta load?

Hello Experts,

Can anyone suggests if CUAN_IMPORT_SRV handles delta load as well? If the initial load is completed using csv files and the delta load needs to be done using CUAN_IMPORT_SRV, can it be achieved? I need to use it for exporting products from hybris commerce to hybris marketing. I think hybris commerce uses datahub adapter to update data in hybris marketing using CUAN_IMPORT_SRV service. I am using Cloud version of hybris marketing.

how the delta load of products are being handled currently? Does anyone faced similar issue?

After my research, I found that Delta for ODATA service CUAN_IMPORT_SRV is not there.

Unlikely, for ODATA service CUAN_ANALYTIC_FND , it's specifically mentioned about Delta.

Then how the delta load is handled by hybris marketing currently. Can you assist here? Does hybris marketing has provided any other way for the delta upload. There will be products which will be created in commerce and those needs to be flown in yMKT regularly. any solution for this?

By filling the field IC_UPDATE_MODE you can control how the contact data is updated.

Update mode D (Delta): All imported fields that have values, overwrite existing fields of the same facet of the contact. If the contact doesn't already exist, it is created.

Do you have an onpremise or a cloud hybris marketing system?

In case of onpremise, which version?

As from version 1705 and later; other odata services have been provided which do support delta mode.

Hi Kunal,

This field is only applicable for csv uploads; it can't be used in odata.

Also it's only on the interaction; it seems; not on the contact.

In 1702 I struggled a lot with the CUAN_IMPORT_SRV not being able to handle delta's.

The newer odata api's thankfully do support it.

Hi Mayank,

I am not sure if delta is supported yet but for lower version we have to send the entire product record just like for contacts, then entire product record needs to be re-created with fresh set of data. This is how delta is handled.

Hello Joyca,

I will be using cloud version for both hybris commerce and hybris marketing. My issue here is that we need to import the product data from hybris commerce and as per hybris commerce help, they have defaulted CUAN_IMPORT_SRV to send the data using datahub. Hence delta load is an issue.

Can you suggest how we can handle this ?

"The ymkt-odata extension contains the OData target system adapter required for data replication from SAP Hybris Commerce to the SAP Hybris Marketing system (SAP Hybris Marketing Cloud or SAP Hybris Marketing)."

The adapter transforms the Data Hub target item into an OData POST XML payload to the CUAN_IMPORT_SRV OData service in the SAP Hybris Marketing system.

I am aware that there is a new OData service -

API_MKT_PRODUCT_SRV which is now available for create/change product data. But then if hybris commerce is sending the data only through CUAN_IMPORT_SRV then how we need to handle this? Any technical assistance?

Does 1611 version supports Hybris commerce Integration?

If then what are the RFC connections settings required and from hybris marketing?
