HI

1.you need to create a variant OKOV, enter a name and create button , you get screen to enter the no.of orders, or ordertype or plant.

then save.

use the variant in KO8G and enter the Period(month)nad year.

the processing option select the BACKGROUND PROCESSING.

Thyaga and ashok,

I tried to do it, but in KO8G i cannot set it for daily background run.

If you can tell me the process in brief it would be very helpful.

Thanks

Hi Vivek,

Pls follow the procedure as follows:

Go to KO8G, u have to create a variant for your job. Click on Create icon in from of selection variant. Name the variant. Click create. There u specify the details about the orders u want to settle.click on attributes button on top.Check "only for background processing" check box. save it. then save your variant.come back to ur initial KO8G screen and define the settlement period and fiscal year and processing type.Check Background processing and uncheck test run.Click execute.

Now u have to fill in the job details in the pop up. Fill in details like job name server details and planned start date and time.confirm it.When you confirm it, the job is released.Pls note the job name.

Then go to SM37. Type in your job name and check the released status and uncheck the rest status check boxes. Then Execute. It will show your job overview. Select your job.Go to menu Job. click change. Then click start conditions. Ther click date and time.u'll find a check box "periodic job". check it.click on "period values" button. and then click daily. save it.save again.

Hope this clears your doubts.
