Quota generation is thru RPTQTA00 (running daily night as batch pgm).
The following are the issues.
1. How & When you are carry forwarding the quota.?
2. Employee applies for the same after the quotas are getting carry forwarded.
Details:-
Staff can carry forward unused AL from current year to à next year in a different quota type as Carry forward AL.
Quotas for the next year will be getting generated on Dec 1st of the current year.
I am using RPTQTA00 program for generating quotas.
So carry forward of AL will be done thru customized programs or User exits.
Eg: - staff has 10 unused AL in this current year (2008) on Dec 1st 2008.
So once system generated quotas for the year of 2009 on Dec 1st 2008.
It will convert unused AL 10 days as carry forward AL (10 DAYS) with validity of 01.01.2009-31.12.2009.
So by logic the AL for year 2008 will be zero. But in SAP it will be 10days with validity of 01-01-2008 to 31.12.2008.
So again employee can apply from this leave in Dec u2013How it will affect on the carry forward AL??
Solution, which I am thinking: - I can carry forward AL on Dec 31st thru some customized pgmu2026So that this confusion will get resolved.
