Hi,
in top down budgeting, I would imagine that managerial level finance people would only enter high level numbers, i.e. net income, gross margin, current ratio, return on total asset... but since most if not all these numbers are parent level members, how can numbers be entered into them in BPC? unless of course high level finance people are willing to work from base level members, then we'll get aggregated parent level members, but that would be bottom up budgeting and the purpose of top down would be nullified, and i would imagine high level finance people wouldn't have the operation knowledge and the patience to work the low level numbers.
any input on this one?
cheers
