Dear all,
We have SAP solution Manager version 7 SP 16 ABAP only installed and configured.
We are now wanting to investigate and install SAP Solution Manager Diagnostics (end-to-end).
How do we introduce a java add-in? Will this then result in a dual stack installation (abap+java)? Any useful information on how to accomplish this will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Regards, Neeta

If you have installed a Solution Manager 7.0 then you installed ABAP and Java. There was/is no "ABAP only" installation.

Hi Markus,
Thanks so much for your response. I checked the instance profiles and there are no j2ee parameters and there are no jlaunch processes running. I suspect this was an upgrade of version 3.2 to 7.0 . There is a /usr/sap/SOL/DVEBMGS10 directory with no j2ee directory or files associated with java.
The Java add-in is required (abap+java) for Solution Manager diagnostics (end -to-end) & I am trying to find the specific docuemntation on this install 7 am not successful in service marketplace.

to get to know if this is upgraded from earlier version.
To install java addin installation to the existing abap instance then you can find information in the
